Welcome to the beach "GULF OF THE SUN" Agno ... the goal of the summer!
“Gulf of the Sun” opened in 2011 at the place of the camping that since a few years ago was highly visited by many camping fans. Completely restructured with some new functional and modern infrastructures added, today it is a fully operational and frequently valued by the customers beach.
It is directly situated on the lake of Ceresio, 5 minutes away from the center of Agno and the railway FLP station, as the town of Lugano is only 10 km far.
With its total area of nearly 15’000 square meters, its enviable location allows total relaxing recreation and leisure.
“Gulf of the Sun” is a bathing establishment open 7 days a week directly facing a wide and quiet beach with lush green and beautiful areas; as main services offers a Snack bar with terrace, bath, showers and comfortable beach beds with umbrellas for the customers, the possibility to swim in the lake under the surveillance of lifeguards from 9.30 in the morning till 7.00 in the evening. Free public parking is available, table tennis, playground, beach volleyball, peddle boats, floating raft are some of the numerous entertainments that you can find.
During the weekends and official holidays you can also find opened the Lounge bar and the area dedicated to the barbecues located in a very particular and exclusive zone on the tip of the estuary of the old river Vedeggio and the lake of Ceresio, for a wonderful aperitif in a company and to taste our delicious grilled dishes.
The beach is offered also for private parties – it is ideal for birthday celebrations, graduations, company events, weddings, children parties, etc… with the possibility of a catering service for lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner.
